Last Bo Noël in Lausanne this Christmas

Lausanne is retiring its Bô Noël Christmas market after this year's edition, replacing it from 2027 with a new concept called Lausanne Magic Winter

The city picked the project unanimously from six candidates for the 2027–2030 period, with the option to extend for another four years.

The new format will combine a Christmas market, events and animations, and partnerships with local businesses.

Bô Noël, which started around fifteen years ago, drew more than 450,000 visitors last year.

Full details of the new programme will be unveiled in autumn 2027.
