The Federal Health Office has confirmed it is to end the campaign to get everyone boosted.

It was just earlier this week the government pushed the message that the booster is important and everyone who’s eligible should get a shot.

But the office says that due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant they have to make adjustments to the programme and be more flexible and the current campaign would not be effective. But they fail to elaborate.

Currently over 70% of the population have had at least one shot – but only 40% have been boosted.
