Haute Savoie motorway goes ahead

Construction of the A412 motorway between Machilly and Thonon in Haute-Savoie can continue, after a court ruling yesterday

The judge in Annecy declined to suspend the works, following a request by the Annecy public prosecutor over alleged breaches of environmental authorisations.

But the court did confirm several failings tied to the project's green commitments.

The concession-holder has eight days to fix them, or face daily financial penalties.
