Geneva has had the most same sex marriages in the country since the law was changed.
Taking into account relative population sizes between the cantons, Geneva has had 96 marriages – second is Zurich at 208.
The figures from Federal Statistics Office show for every 100,000 people – 18.9 same sex couples tied the knot in Geneva – compared to 13.3 in Zurich.
Two thirds of those getting married are men.
