Geneva is handing over CHF 326m to the neighbouring French departments of Haute Savoie and Ain.
The amount is tax collected by the canton from frontaliers and is based on an agreement from 1973.
It’s CHF 11m more than last year.
Most of the money is used on important infrastructure projects – especially transport.
