Questions are being raised about the American woman who died using a so-called suicide pod in the forests of Schaffhausen last month.
Reports in the Dutch press claims the Schaffhausen public prosecutor is now investigating a possible homicide after the medical examiner discovered what could be strangulation marks on the woman’s neck.
It could also explain why Florian Willet, the head of the euthanasia organisation, The Last Resort, remains in custody five weeks after.
Prosecutors are staying silent for the moment – but apparently the defence lawyers have not seen the autopsy report – which is being described as very unusual.
