Campaigners from Renovate Switzerland slowed traffic in Geneva to a crawl last night.
Around 15 protestors walked slowly along the Rue de Carouge causing traffic to line up behind them.
They said the slow march was to highlight the slowness of action by the government on climate policies.
The march was approved by the police who watched the procession.
While some onlookers and drivers shouted abuse – many applauded and the police stopped cars from using the tram lines to overtake the marchers.
The campaign group says it’s very disappointed the newly elected cantonal government has downgraded plans to insulate buildings.
