Public health experts are trying to persuade Migros to keep the coloured Nutri-Score label on their products.
Migros says it doubts its usefulness, the customers don’t understand it and it’s too expensive.
Those against the score say it uses an imperfect calculation method which doesn’t consider additives, production methods and the origin.
Those backing the score admit it’s imperfect, and say there are moves to improve it.
But one expert, a food specialist Rebecca Eggenberger, says it’s the best tool available today.
