Campaigners have launched an initiative to demand that any food that’s been produced with genetically engineered organisms should be clearly marked.
They say that consumers should have a clear choice about their food.
GMOs are currently banned in Switzerland, allowed only for research purposes. But that ban runs out next year.
The initiative also calls for the ban to be maintained until a labelling system is in place.
