An airline cabin crew worker has been fined by a Geneva court for turning up to work drunk.
The 34-year-old reported for work, but security staff decided he seemed drunk, and so was breathalysed, which confirmed their suspicions.
He was barred from boarding the plane and was charged as it’s illegal for any airline worker to be drunk on duty.
He was fined CHF 5,400 and has to pay CHF 710 in costs.
