Work on the renovation of the Geneva bus station will start next week.
The building, in the centre of town, has been an eyesore for years.
The developers say the new building will be welcoming and modern and improve the local environment.
There’ll be a new waiting room, luggage storage facilities, snack bar, and inside toilets.
The flat roof of the new building will be a ‘green roof’ which fits with the city’s policies of improving biodiversity.
But while the work is going on – temporary facilities will be used.
