A 12-year-old boy is in a coma after being attacked in Zurich.
Police say he was attacked by a 26-year-old man who was high on drugs. He was hit on the head and fell hard onto the sidewalk.
The man was held down by passers-by until the police arrived.
One officer was injured during the arrest as well as the attacker. Both were treated in hospital.
Authorities are not releasing any information about the man’s previous convictions or whether he’s been in a psychiatric facility.
