Big lottery win tonight

Tonight, could be the largest lottery payout in Swiss history.

The last few drawings have not had a winner – so now the jackpot stands at CHF 53m.

The previous record payout was CHF 48.5m in 2014.But it’s not the highest jackpot win, that was in 2016 at CHF 70m, but was shared with more than one winner.

Swisslos, which runs the lottery, expect to have more than twice as many players for tonight’s draw – which will at 7pm.

The chances of winning are 1 in 31 million.

If you win the jackpot and live in Geneva – the first thing to do is move. Geneva is one of the highest taxed cantons for lottery winners.

Canton Zug is nice.
