The Bern Onion Market is back. The traditional event was cancelled last year due to Covid restrictions.
The City of Bern says there will be some protective measures in place this year – mainly you will not be able to buy alcohol from the stands.
But you will be able to have a drink in a restaurant or on the terrace while sitting.
The Onion Market is held every year on the fourth Monday of November. It's said to date back to the 1400s.
