Basel Uni struggles to check everyone

Students at the University of Applied Sciences in Muttenz in canton Basel-Country complained as they had to wait in line to have their health passes checked.

Some say many were late for class and complained there were only 2 people on the door checking.

The school admitted to the press there were some lines early in the morning – but they soon settled down and they’re asking students to allow extra time for the checks.

But the university says they have made changes to keep the queues down in the future.

The rules will be the same for Basel University from next month. They’re planning to issue their own pass to 10,000 students to keep the flow moving throughout the term.
