The University Children’s Hospital in Basel is under investigation for illegally overcharging patients and billing for services not received.
The hospital falls under the jurisdiction of both the Basel half-cantons and prosecutors from both have filed criminal charges.
The charges suggest the hospital has been incorrectly billing for the last two years.
