The café at the Bains des Paquis in Geneva has bowed to pressure from the city and will now accept credit cards.
Before it would only take cards for orders above CHF 100.-
The move was recommended by the Court of Auditors at the end of last year in an effort to improve traceability of money.
The city threatened the current management of the café that if they didn’t make the move, they would re-advertise the concession.
