The centre of Geneva was closed off yesterday afternoon as the police bomb squad removed a suspicious package.
The bag was left near to the Hotel Metropole, outside a jewellery store.
A large area of the rue de Rhone was closed off from around 2pm until 4pm.
Police say it was a false alarm.
