Resistance to taking the vaccine is crumbling. A continuing survey by the University of Zurich shows more people are willing to get jabbed than 6 months ago.
But there is still a significant hold-out.
The university has been asking the same question since September: ‘how likely are you to get vaccinated?'
Last month 55% said they would – the month before it was 41%.
But still 28% say they wouldn’t take it and one in six remain uncertain.
This could be a problem as to create herd immunity it will need a take up of 70%.
There have been problems during the roll out due to lack of supplies. Many cantons have had to cut back on their programme as they wait for fresh deliveries. But the federal government is due to make an announcement later today on how improve the situation.
