Passenger traffic at Geneva Airport continues to climb. Last year 16.3m people passed through, a rise of 16%.
While still not up at pre-pandemic levels, when nearly 18m flew from Geneva, last year’s figures are higher than expected.
Much of the increase was in the second half of the year. Analysts note the higher trend is happening even with the background of troubled geopolitical tensions and relatively high airfares.
The cost of flying now is about a third higher than 2019.
