10 young criminals on run

Pramont Secure School, canton Valais

As many as 10 young people escaped from a secure school after attacking a guard over the weekend in canton Valais – and they’re still being sought by police.

The youths are aged between 17 and 24.

Reports say they grabbed a guard on Saturday night and locked him in a cell and then stole a nearby vehicle. The guard was slightly injured, according to the police.

The Pramont Closed Education Centre is used by all of the French speaking cantons to house children and young adults who have been convicted of a criminal offence.
