The Transatlantic Council of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has formed a task force - Aquile Randagie - with the objective of providing support to displaced Ukrainian Scouts.

They're urgently looking for financial aid to send two Ukranian Scout units located in Poland to the Transatlantic Council's Camp Alpine summer camp at the Kandersteg International Scout Center in Switzerland. This would offer them an opportunity to acquire new skills, gain independence, and create lifelong memories. Additionally, it would give them a much-needed break from their current difficult circumstances.

Also, they plan to aid Ukrainian Scouts in Ukraine directly by providing them with the necessary equipment and opportunity to attend summer camp in their country. The Ukrainian Scout Association has identified a list of required items such as tents, cooking gear, sleeping bags, generators, energy storage systems, radios, and other critical supplies to ensure the Scouts’ safety and comfort.

We speak to Esteban Pombo, District Chairman of the Edelweiss District of the Transatlantic Council of the Boy Scouts of America to talk about this fundraising campaign.
