There will be no Pride Festival in Zurich this year.
Members of the association behind the event voted overwhelmingly to suspend it. The reasons given were financial and a controversy over a planned ticketing system.
Organisers say they need time to regroup and develop a stronger concept, with a return planned for 2027.
However, the Pride march and some Pride parties will still go ahead as scheduled.
Further details are expected in a statement later this week.
