A Russian mountaineer in her sixties has been found dead in a crevasse on the Glacier du Tour on Mont Blanc.
She had been missing since Tuesday evening, after setting out alone on the glacier and failing to return to her refuge.
Authorities say she apparently fell through a snow bridge covering the crevasse. Her body was located using signals from her mobile phone.
