The 31-year-old Turkish-Swiss man suspected of last Thursday's knife attack in Winterthur has been placed in pretrial detention.
The suspect - known to police as close to Islamist circles and with psychiatric problems - had left a psychiatric facility the day before the attack.
He is accused of injuring three people, one of them seriously.
