Wide Paléo line up hailed

The Paléo Festival has released its line up – and critics are hailing the adventurousness.

Opinions are torn who exactly is the headliner – there’s the choice of Will Smith, Davd Guetta and Macklemore.

Also coming to Nyon are Queens of the Stone Age, The Sex Pistols – but with Frank Carter in the lead vocal role – Simple Minds and Skunk Anansie.

And Texas returns, Paléo is a favourite of theirs.

80% of the line up have never been on stage at Paléo before.

The festival runs from 22nd to 27th July – tickets go on sale on March 26th at noon – and they’ll all be sold out 45 seconds later.

1,000 tickets are sold at the gate every day.

Slow drivers should be fined

Slow drivers should be fined the same way as speeders – that’s the idea of a Swiss people’s Party parliamentarian. Walter Gartmann says slow drivers disrupt traffic flow. And minimum speed cameras should be introduced. Anyone driving 10 kph an hour under the limit, when it is possible to go faster, should be fined. But the Green Party disagrees and says some choose to drive slower on the autoroute to save fuel. Others also point out that the police can already fine someone for driving too slowly. A woman in Zurich had to pay over CHF 400 as she was deemed to be too slow while on the
