Water tensions rise with Italy

Tensions are rising between Switzerland and Italy over water, as Lake Maggiore in Ticino approaches a historic low.

The canton says its own water supplies are under pressure, while Bern is working on an agreement with Rome to manage shortages and prevent future conflicts.
