A watch collector has been seriously injured in a violent attack in Geneva.
The 87-year-old man was assaulted last week on the Rue des Alpes, after leaving a hotel bar.
He suffered multiple stab wounds when an attacker attempted to steal his watch. Police patrol officers intervened and arrested the suspect.
The incident comes during the Watches and Wonders fair, though authorities say there’s no evidence of increased watch-related crime.
