Police in southern Germany are warning of dangerous conditions on parts of frozen Lake Constance, after three people fell through the ice earlier this week.
All three were rescued after spending around twenty minutes in icy water and were treated for hypothermia.
Authorities say changing weather, wind and snow are making the ice increasingly unstable, and urge people to stay close to the shore.
The police say anyone heading out on the ice do so at their own risk.
