Want to go to prison?

If you’d like to try out what it will be like to go to prison – Zurich is looking for volunteers to test a new prison before it opens for real.

The new facility will deal with those on pre-trial detention.

Although several hundred have already said they’ll try it out, prison managers want a realistic ratio of ages and gender.

The experience will be true to life as possible, although volunteers won’t have to undergo a full body search.

If the experience proves too much, there will be a safe-word arranged so people can leave if they need to.

The test will be in March next year.
