Nearly 200 people had to be re-vaccinated in canton Schwyz after they were given a dose of an expired Moderna drug.

The vaccine was issued at a doctor’s surgery in Ibach.

The doctor has been named as 51-year-old Susanne Neimann, she’s currently suspended pending an investigation.

The cantonal health department worked with Moderna which confirmed the vaccines were several months out of date by the time they were administered.

The health office says the patients have the right to take legal action.
