Vaccine app ready for 2G checks

BAG

In what seems to be in preparation for new stricter rules for the health pass, the mobile Covid App can now support 2G checks.

2G means a negative test is not valid for access to public events. The government has suggested it will tighten the rules in an effort to stem the infection rate.

With the app update, business owners will be able to check if the user is vaccinated or cured.

In the meantime, infections continue to rise. In the last three days there have been 23,500 new cases, according to the Federal Health Office. In the same period, 46 have died and 273 hospitalized.
