The Swiss education system is being praised by two visiting US state governors.
Republican Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma and Democrat Matt Meyer of Delaware toured Swiss companies in telecoms, tech, and aerospace.
The pair spoke to apprentices – who are earning a salary while their US peers are still in high school.
They called the Swiss vocational model “the best in the world,” noting youth unemployment here is just 2 to 3 percent, compared to over 10 in the U.S.
Both plan to adapt the system back home.
