Unions are calling for wide ranging pay increases for workers – especially those who showed flexibility during the pandemic.
They say the extra money will ensure continued economic growth by supporting consumption.
Unions say those working in healthcare should be given raises of around 3-4%. Other sectors should be offered around 1.75%.
As the economy reopens, analysts expect GDP to grow at 3.6% this year.
