Two women have been arrested after a burglary in Grand-Lancy yesterday afternoon.
Police say they were alerted by neighbours shortly before 3:30pm to a break-in in progress on Chemin de l’Adret.
Several patrols, supported by police dogs, were dispatched to the scene.
A car was then spotted fleeing the area, prompting a pursuit. Officers say the vehicle entered a car park and collided with a police car while attempting to escape.
The two suspects were arrested on Avenue Eugène-Lance. No one was injured.
An investigation is underway.
