Two new swimming pools open in Geneva today.
The pools are floating near the Jet d’Eau. They’re both 10 meters wide and 27 metres long, but one is bottomless and the other has a depth of 1.4 metres.
Entry for an adult will be 2 francs.
The City of Geneva councillor, Marie Barbey-Chappuis, says the pools reinforce Geneva’s image as a city of water.
The pools will be open until October.
