The United States’ planned withdrawal from the World Health Organization at the end of the month remains uncertain.
The WHO said in Geneva yesterday that it is still unclear whether Washington has met the required conditions.
A year ago, President Donald Trump announced the move, accusing the agency of being too close to China.
Under WHO rules, the US must settle all outstanding financial obligations before leaving.
Officials say the United States currently has arrears, and the issue will be discussed by member states in early next month.
