If it seems too good to be true – it probably is.
A woman in Switzerland thought she’d secured a bargain – but actually found herself a member of a gym in the UK instead.
An advert on Facebook suggested a disgruntled former employee of the sports chain Decathlon had a way you could buy a top end back pack for only a few francs.
All that was needed was to fill out a survey, pay a few francs on your credit card – and the bag will be yours.
But the woman, who again lives in Switzerland, found herself a member of a gym in Chesterfield in the UK – which had charged her CHF 80 and she had to cancel an annual agreement.
What the gym has to do with the scam is unknown.
