Saas-Fee has become the latest ski resort to suspend summer skiing because of the heat.
It’ll close its summer ski area from today, saying high temperatures have altered the snow cover and glaciers, making it impossible to guarantee safety.
It follows Zermatt, which halted summer skiing a week ago.
Training slopes there remain available to Switzerland’s national ski teams.
