Successful year for the airport

Geneva Airport had a successful 2024. It’s reporting a profit for that year of more than CHF 110m. Half of that will go to the canton.

With almost 18 million passengers, the airport is now seeing traffic virtually equal to the pre-pandemic era.

Revenue last year hit more than half a billion francs – that's up 9%.

It employs over 1,000 people.

It also says the new restrictions on night flights are having an effect. Already this year, movements after 10pm are down 36%
