Storms yesterday afternoon caused some damage across French speaking regions.
Police say they received hundreds of calls at about 5.30 yesterday.
The main affected areas were around canton Fribourg, with reports of roofs being blown off and scaffolding damaged.
Winds of 135 kph were recorded around Lake Geneva, and trees uprooted in Saint-Prex in canton Vaud.
A kayaker on Lake Neuchatel was rescued by emergency services after winds blew him away from shore.
There were no reports of injuries.
