A speed camera in Neuchâtel has gone haywire - flashing thousands of drivers for no reason.
Between April 17th and 18th, the radar recorded 3,468 false violations after a technical failure.
The speed limit had just been raised back to 50 km/h, but the device didn’t update properly, and couldn’t be controlled remotely.
Police say they were flooded with calls, and an operator had to shut it down on site.
Authorities insist no fines will be issued.
