The spring rains have helped restore very low ground water reserves.
But there are still some areas which don’t have enough – and there could be water restrictions in place over the summer.
In February, meteorologists warned water tables were low. But the water other the last couple of months have eased fears.
But the regions of the Jura, Valais, Engadine, and Ticino still don’t have enough.
Work is being carried out in canton Jura to connect more ground water supplies to the network to ensure supply.
