Figures from the State Secretariat for Migration have released n umbers that show each deportation flight has fewer than 5 people on board - and some are even flown back to their home country on a private jet.
Last year the government chartered 24 flights for 115 rejected asylum seekers.
It costs around CHF 13,000 for each deportation.
Many politicians are criticising the costs. Many say deportations should be delayed and more voluntary repatriations should be encouraged.
The Migration Secretariat says the system is worth it as it shows that unsuccessful claimants do have to leave the country.
