A lawyer in canton Solothurn is calling for legal action to be taken against the police after a 15-year-old boy by was shot twice by a fellow teenager – he was seriously injured.
The victim was found on the ground in the town of Kappel, close to Olten.
Christina Winter, a lawyer for the victim’s family, says the police were repeatedly warned he was in danger as he’d been harassed by the alleged shooter and had received death threats.
She says police inaction is a ‘scandalous failure’.
The police say they need some ‘clarifications’ before they respond.
