A woman died on the ski slopes yesterday after colliding with a fellow skier.
The accident happened at Obersaxon in canton Graubünden on Wednesday morning.
Both skiers, a 64-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman, crashed into a chairlift support. The man was only slightly injured – but the woman died, despite immediate assistance from the local medical team and helicopter rescue services.
Police are now investigating – the skiers families are receiving psychological support.
