Many major stores are bringing back limits of how many customers can be inside at any one time.
It’s not a legal requirement, but a decision the traders have made themselves. It affects Coop, Lidl, Migros, Manor and Denner. Aldi says it’s considering the move.
It will mean the return to the counting systems that were in place a few months ago – either by a traffic light system or by numbered cards handed out.
The traders are also asking people to try to do their shopping at the beginning of the week and to avoid the traditional busy periods.
