Senderos leaves Servette FC

Twitter - SFC

Former professional footballer, Philippe Senderos is leaving Servette FC as Sporting Director.

Senderos started his career with the Geneva club, and has played for Switzerland, Arsenal, Milan, Everton, Aston Villa as well as others.

In a Twitter post, he says he will leave the club ‘soon’. But he gave no reasons.

The Geneva club has seen a number of senior positions change over the past few weeks, with new directors and the resignation of the General Manager Richard Feuz.

Senderos says he’s proud of his achievements at the Servette Football Academy and notes the rise of the Under 21 team and their first position in the league.
