Dust from the Sahara Desert is now mixing with the smoke particles from the Canadian wildfires to create an orange haze in the sky over Switzerland.
The dust is also cutting back visibility in some areas.
Some measuring stations are recording particulate levels that are unhealthy, but the Federal Meteorological Office says air quality is improving.
