Rock climbers in canton Solothurn made a gruesome discovery – two human skulls.
Police have determined the skulls are real, but it’s unclear where they came from.
There’s no sign of trauma, so it’s thought no crime has been committed. One theory is that came from a crypt and may have been placed in a rock crevice as part of a geocaching game.
Some other bones were found with the skulls, but initial observations suggest they’re not from the same body.
Further investigations are underway.
